SPADE received an annual grant from ONGC to promote livelihood for the marginalized Korbong community through enhancing the skill of the beneficiaries in Goat and Pig rearing. The place is named Korbong Para under Champabari ADC village in Jirania Block West Tripura District. Few activities are to be carried out in the nearby hamlets viz. Radhacharan, Kuttapagal, Kharjangkhola, Champa and Dudla under the same Champabari ADC village.
The entire gamut of the activities shall be carried out with active involvement of the village organization of different tiers. Necessary capacity building inputs for these organizations shall also be delivered during the process.
Linkages are to be developed with the block, district and resource agencies for assuring convergence with the different flagship schemes, programs and social security measures.
SPADE shall promote a Common Facility Centre (CFC) that shall act as a single window for delivering the required inputs like vaccine, medicine, insurance, treatment, feed and fodder procurement, negotiation with the bulk buyers, etc. CFC will have:
- Facilities of maintaining cold chain for keeping vaccine and other important medicines.
- Space for Imparting Training to Targeted beneficiaries.
- IT facilities for database development and management.
