Very impressive!
I am very happy to say that we have found their performance extremely satisfactory. In fact, SPADE’s evolution from a Research Consultancy organization to a field level Implementing Agency… has been a very very interesting experience for all of us.
I grow vegetables
I sell my produce at Kashipur Market. I am not allowing any middleman in my business – hence I am enjoying a higher rate of profit. Since I am producing at a very small scale – I could sell my produce directly in the market. During the winter I shall cultivate Ridged Gourd (Jhinga). First of all, I shall repay the present loan and then again I shall take a fresh loan… and this could happen because of NABARD-SPADE initiative for building Women Self Help Groups in this part of Purulia.
Penalty for not attending meetings
The penalty may not have such strong impact but getting penalized in front of other members is an embarrassment which perhaps is a reason for the rejuvenation of our group. The Trainer-cum-Supervisor of SPADE, consulted with the office bearers of the group for devising a measure to avert this low level of attendance and participation.
They are bringing smiling faces to our community
SPADE is a reputed and renowned NGO. And they are working with Tata Power Haldia Division since 2015. On various livelihood occasions they are working with us, and they are working for the development… like the financial, agricultural… and played an important role for the development like a financial agricultural and played an important role for the benefit of our surrounding people.
And they are working very good and they are bringing smiling faces to our community. They are working so fine with us that I wish that this NGO can work in future for the benefit of our neighborhood.
SPADE will progress in leaps and bounds
I firmly believe that in the near future, SPADE will progress in leaps and bounds and in their journey to success, hundreds of villagers, and also the poor who dwell in the cities and who do not get to experience or live the technological and economic changes and upgradation that is happening all around us today… they too will be able to go up the ladder of progress with the help of SPADE.
